U.S. Representative Massie Signs Letter Opposing Aviation User Fees Representative Thomas Massie, whose district is home to the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport, has signed a letter opposing President Obama’s proposed $100-per-flight user fee on general aviation. “Aviation is crucial to the Northern Kentucky economy, and user fees would encumber the industry.” said Rep. Massie. “Washington should work to help, not hurt, industries essential to our economy.” The President proposed aviation user fees in his past two budgets, and Congress rejected the idea both times. The fee has been proposed again with the 2014 budget. |
