It’s not always Red vs Blue. Sometimes it’s David vs Goliath. Yesterday, we killed a bill in the Judiciary Committee that would have forced plaintiffs, like small inventors, to disclose their financial backing to deep pocketed corporations in expensive lawsuits.
By missing deadlines, making excessive redactions, and withholding documents, the Justice Department is defying the Epstein Files Transparency Act. On CNN, I discussed the need for a court-appointed special master to ensure the DOJ follows the law Trump signed.
Our Epstein Files Transparency Act is now law. It establishes a December 19 deadline for the Attorney General to release the Epstein files. In this video, I’ll tell you what to expect in advance of tomorrow's statutory disclosure deadline.
The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) has been used to unconstitutionally spy on American citizens. In the House Judiciary Committee, we discussed ways to reform FISA, but I pointed out we must also reform or repeal other constitutionally flawed statutes and executive orders.
