Inauguration

Thank you for your interest in attending the upcoming Presidential Inauguration. The ceremony is scheduled for January 20th. Due to the limited number of tickets each congressional office receives, there are limited tickets available per household. Please note: Submitting this form is a request only and does not guarantee tickets.

Tickets are standing room only and provide access to the swearing-in ceremony on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol.

Attending without a ticket: Given the high demand and limited number of tickets, our office is unable to fulfill most requests. However, public viewing areas with screens and speakers will be available along the National Mall. These viewing areas do not require a ticket to access.

What to Expect:

• Extended periods of standing and waiting

• Enhanced security

• Cold weather

• Large crowds

Recommendations:

• Secure lodging early

• Utilize Metro or other public transportation

• Arrive early and prepare for delays

Tickets are free to the public and not intended for sale. They will not be mailed and must be picked up by the person who submitted the request using a valid government-issued ID. Tickets will not be available for pick-up on Inauguration Day.
