Beef Prices on Newsmax

Last month, Rob Schmitt and I discussed the President’s proposal to purchase more beef from Argentina.

The America First solution to rising beef prices is my bill, the PRIME Act.

It would empower American farmers to sell beef directly to consumers without global corporate middlemen.

Rep. Massie Urges Restoration

of Country of Origin Labeling

In case you missed it, I appeared with Christian Gomez of The New American to talk about how restoring Country of Origin Labeling and passing my PRIME Act would lower beef prices.

On the subject of labeling, I also introduced a bill with Rep. Harriet Hageman to restore Mandatory Country of Origin Labeling (MCOOL) for American beef. The bill is HR 5818, the Country of Origin Labeling Enforcement Act of 2025.

Thank you, Rep. Hageman, for leading this effort. Americans deserve to know where their food comes from, especially if supermarkets are going to be flooded with foreign beef. America First!

Rep. Massie Announces Introduction of Patent Reform Legislation at US Inventor Annual Conference

I spoke recently at the US Inventor Annual Conference in Washington, DC. At the conference I announced the reintroduction of the Restoring America’s Leadership in Innovation Act (RALIA).

RALIA will improve the US patent system and protect American inventors. It does so by reversing several harmful changes to patent law that arose from Supreme Court rulings and the enacted Leahy-Smith America Invents Act.

Rep. Massie Introduces Bill to Protect Americans

from Federally Funded Propaganda

In October, I introduced HR 5704, the Repeal the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2013, to protect American audiences from the domestic dissemination of federally funded propaganda by the State Department, the United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM), and their component networks.

The 2013 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) included the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act, legislation that ended a prohibition on the federal government exposing American audiences to its propaganda. I voted against that NDAA, and I offered an amendment to the 2026 NDAA to reinstate the original prohibition, but Speaker Johnson blocked a vote. The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act needs to be repealed. Taxpayer-funded fake news should not be used by the federal government to wage influence campaigns against the American people.
