Rep. Massie Tells Tucker Carlson

a New "Church Committee" is Happening

Tucker Carlson of Fox News suggested forming a new “Church Committee" modeled after the Senate select committee that investigated abuses by U.S. government agencies in the 1970s. Speaker Kevin McCarthy made this happen. I’ll serve on it, and we will go wherever the evidence leads us. 

The formal name for the new "Church Committee" is the "Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government." Members of the select subcommittee will look into egregious acts of the federal government that suppress the civil liberties of Americans.

Rep. Massie Introduces Bill to End COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate for International Air Travelers 

I introduced HR 185 to end the COVID-19 vaccine mandate placed on international air travelers to the United States. A copy of the legislation is available at this link. A list of current cosponsors is linked here. 

If you watched C-SPAN during the election for Speaker, you saw 434 Members of Congress gathered in the Capitol screaming, yelling, cheering, and speaking. Many of these members are unvaccinated, and many haven't taken boosters. So, why do we subject visitors who want to see their families to this COVID-19 double standard? The CDC's unscientific mandate is separating too many people from their families and has been doing so for far too long. It needs to end.

Rep. Massie Appointed to House Rules Committee

It’s official. I’m on the Rules Committee. The committee is comprised of nine members of the majority and four members of the minority.

All bills go through the Rules Committee after being voted out of their committees of jurisdiction and before being considered by the full House.

I’m looking forward to chairing the Subcommittee on the Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust, a House Judiciary subcommittee with jurisdiction over many subject matters including bankruptcy law, administrative law, and state taxation affecting interstate commerce.
