Dear friend,
I wanted to remind students in Kentucky's fourth district that my 2016 United States Service Academy Day is this Saturday, April 16th. Please feel free to forward this to a friend!

As your United States representative, I have the privilege of nominating a limited number of qualifying candidates to attend one of the U.S. Service Academies. The honor of attending a Service Academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.
My Fourth Annual U.S. Service Academy Day is this Saturday, April 16, 2016. While it is not necessary to attend in order to apply for a nomination, I encourage students to attend so they can learn more about the nomination process. Representatives from each Service Academy will be in attendance to answer questions and provide information. The nomination process also includes an additional day in the fall when applicants have formal interviews with representatives from the academies.
